A special thank you to Schartner's in Egg Harbor and Wood Orchard Markets in Sturgeon Bay for graciously donating 11.5 bushels of Honeycrisp apples, picked 36 hours ago, for our celebration!
The G.L.G.A.C. aims to raise awareness for local Farm2School programs, and their positive impacts on school nutrition, local economies, and the environment.

Wednesday: First Grade students enjoyed a special program learning about the past. Kathleen Harris, from the Ephraim Historical Foundation, portrayed Anna Petterson, an Ephraim pioneer. She shared what life was like in the 1800’s. They investigated old tools and compared them to contemporary tools. They asked questions helping them better understand how people lived before cars, ovens, washing machines, and electricity were available. Putting Faces to Names - Hello! My name is Jen Gallagher. I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Gibraltar Elementary! I started substitute teaching at Gibraltar after we moved to Fish Creek in 2021 and then was support staff last school year. When I am not teaching, I enjoy many outdoor activities with my family - like hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. I feel so lucky to call this beautiful place home and I am looking forward to a great school year!
On Wednesday, our elementary students sat in our makebelieve hallway bus while Principal, Mrs. Ward, covered Viking Values on the bus:
