The seventh grade Tech Ed. class, taught by Mr. Hatch, made shelves. Mr. Hatch taught them how to measure, cut boards, sand, and how to assemble them. The students were excited to choose the color to paint the shelves. They turned out beautifully! Mr. Hatch and the students worked very hard so the shelves were ready to go home in time for Christmas.

BIG WINS AT DISTRICT DECA CDC: Vanessa Demarinis earned top honors in the Apparel and Accessories Marketing Exam and Promotion Role-play events and placed 3rd overall in the Apparel and Accessories Series.
Leo Frisoni earned a medal in the Accounting Financial Analysis role-play and placed 4th overall in the Accounting Series.

The K-2 Multi-Age finished their science unit called Structure and Function: The Human Body. After learning all about the structures and functions of various parts of the body they had to design a cast for a broken wrist. The cast had to be strong, comfortable, light, and water resistant. It was a lot of fun!

The 2023 One Act Troupe added to the long list of tenured accomplishments by earning five State Awards with their performance of All in the Timing. State WISDAA Awards include the Critics’ Choice Award, Technical Award, Directors Award, and three Outstanding Actor Awards. Italia De La Torre, Emerson Lecy, and Becka Porter earned Outstanding Actor Awards. Director Lizz Thomas was also inducted into the Wisconsin Theater Director's Hall of Fame!
School Board Member, Karen Nordahl, was a guest speaker in the French Culture Class this week. She reflects on the benefits and challenges of travel in her career. Students continue to benefit from this unique and well-rounded curriculum provided by Mrs. McCormack. (Sidebar: Remember a few years ago when these secondary classrooms were dark and musty?
