RtI Coordination

Response to Intervention - Rti

The department coordinates and schedules district and state assessments. One of the primary district assessments is the STAR assessment, which is administered to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade. This assessment is given three times per year to collect data on student progress and academic growth.

When students are identified as needing additional support, they enter the Response to Intervention (RtI) process. The information below outlines how the Multi-Level System of Supports (MLSS) is used to meet student needs and promote academic success.
