I am originally from the Wausau area and graduated from Marathon High School. After graduating from high school, I attended UW-Eau Claire and received my bachelor of science degree in Psychology.
I then earned my master of science degree in school counseling from UW-Stout.
I knew I wanted to be a school counselor when I began volunteering in a school during my undergraduate program.
I volunteered in a low-income school where I had the opportunity to work individually with students and truly believed people who work in a school can make a difference.
The idea of being a school counselor intrigued me because I knew it would give me the opportunity to help students on an individual basis, not only with academic success, but also in their day-to-day lives in a completely non-judgmental way.
In addition to being the secondary school counselor, I am also the AODA Coordinator, Peer Leader Advisor, and the Project 180 Advisor. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers!
My number one priority is helping students succeed. I am here to support every student in three main domains: Academic, Social, and Career. I am always available to help students in any way I can and will always work hard to make sure every student is given a chance to reach their potential. With the excellent staff at Gibraltar, we work together to meet the needs of every student.
